SWOSU Professor Dr. Hardeep S. Saluja Honored with AAiPS Recognition Award

Weatherford, OK – Dr. Hardeep S. Saluja, Department Chair and Bernhardt Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), has received the Recognition Award from the American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAiPS). The award was presented on during the AAiPS program held in at the annual AAPS meeting in San Antonio.

AAiPS is a national organization that connects pharmaceutical scientists, researchers, and educators. For nearly 40 years, the group has supported scientific advancement, student growth, and collaboration among professionals across the United States. The Recognition Award honors Dr. Saluja’s service as President of AAiPS, his many years as Chair of the AAiPS Graduate Student Awards Committee, and his work on other committees, including the Young Educator and Researcher Awards, which support and recognize early-career scientists.

I am grateful to AAiPS for this recognition,” Dr. Saluja said. “Serving the organization and working with colleagues who care deeply about mentoring the next generation has been a meaningful part of my professional journey.”

At SWOSU, Dr. Saluja coordinates the dual-degree Pharm.D./MSHIM and Pharm.D./MBA programs, one of only two programs of its kind in the nation. He is also a registered pharmacist in Oklahoma and a respected advisor, speaker, and professor, recognized for his leadership in pharmacy education. The university congratulates Dr. Saluja on this achievement and appreciates his ongoing dedication to teaching, service, and professional leadership.
