Grady County, OK — A 10-year-old child was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on State Highway 152, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 10:25 a.m. at SH-152 and County Street 2760, east of Bringer, when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Lindsey M. Whiteshirt of Binger ran off the roadway, went into a broad slide, and struck a bridge rail before overturning. A passenger, identified only as a 10-year-old from Moore, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said Whiteshirt was not injured. The highway patrol reported that seatbelts were not in use by all occupants of the vehicle.
A second vehicle left the roadway in an attempt to avoid the crash but was struck by Whiteshirt’s vehicle. Gan and his passenger were not injured, and troopers said both had been wearing seatbelts.
Next of kin have been notified.
