
Elk City, OK – The 2025 graduating class of Elk City High School was celebrated last Wednesday during the annual Brown and White Ceremony, held inside the Pioneer Center. The event recognized students for their academic achievements, community involvement, and future plans—with a staggering total of over $2.4 million in scholarships awarded.
More than 100 students received scholarships from local businesses, organizations, memorial foundations, and universities. The awards ranged from small local honors to full-ride college scholarships, with many students receiving multiple recognitions for their hard work and dedication.
Standout scholarships included those from local service clubs like Kiwanis and Lions Club, athletic boosters, church groups, and area banks. Colleges such as the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and SWOSU also contributed substantial academic and leadership awards.
The Brown and White Ceremony is a longstanding tradition at Elk City High School, spotlighting the achievements of seniors before they take their next steps. With the Class of 2025 securing millions in support, their future looks bright.
