It was announced last week that the Elk City Police Department has moved.
Officials say the temporary move was necessary due to the upcoming remodel of the current police department.
The department is now located at 120 S. Jefferson, and officials said if anyone needs to file a report or speak with an officer to call the non-emergent phone line at 580-225-1212 and an officer will be dispatched to you.
ECPD still has the Drug Take Back box for those that have any unwanted or unneeded prescription medications to dispose of, however no syringes, liquids, chemicals, or inhalers will be taken. Citizens are asked to call 580-225-4653, to schedule an appointment for drop off, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
The Municipal Court Clerk’s office will also be located at 120 S. Jefferson. To pay for a ticket or if you need a police report, please use the drive through window only. The next court day set for Municipal Court will be held on May 16th at 1:30pm, also at 120 S. Jefferson. The south door, facing 5th Street, will be propped open starting at 1pm for those with court on that day.
