In total, Oklahoma schools received more than $24 million in funding to acquire 61 electric buses as part of the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program Grants Competition.

In a press release, it was announced that the Sentinel School District received $1,580,000 to replace four buses, and the Clinton School District received $1,185,000 to acquire three buses.

The Beggs School District received the largest grant in the state that totaled $3,950,000 to acquire 10 electric buses.
