Combating Porch Pirates and Mail Thieves

Sheriff Derek Manning said that his office has received reports this weekend of people stealing from mailboxes in rural Beckham County. Manning said there has also been at least one report of a suspicious vehicle that appeared to be following a package-delivery vehicle in the Elk City area.

Manning offered tips recently on how to curb these “porch pirates” from striking your home.
