A wreck on Interstate 40 near Sayre is under investigation says troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to the collision report, the accident that involved a 2019 Freightliner driven by 43-year-old Ramjid Singh of Richmond Hills, New York occurred just after midnight Friday morning near mile marker 25 near Sayre in Beckham County.
Troopers said the semi departed the road to the right and traveled approximately 1500 feet across the north service road of I-40 before running into a creek.
As a result, Sing was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.
OHP says both the condition of the driver and the cause of the crash remain under investigation.
