Sheriff Says the App is Still a Valuable Tool

Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning reminds the public that the Department’s free app is still a valuable tool for county residents to have on their phones.

He also reminds the public that the app is a tool for anyone who wishes to submit an annoymous tip, but urges anyone wishing to do so to provide as much information as possible.

Manning said one of the main features of the Beckham County Sheriff’s App is that it has a push feature which will allow his office to notify users with an alert whenever there is an immediate need for communication.

Sayre, OK – A coordinated response between local law enforcement agencies helped prevent a potentially dangerous situation in Beckham County, according to Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning. Sheriff Manning said his office assisted the Mangum Police Department
