Thanks to Western Technology Center and their partnership with Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau, western Oklahoma is going to have more paramedics.

WTC Business and Industry Services Director Danny Britton says six students are on track to graduate from the paramedics program at WTC in July and all intend to stay in the area.

Britton says three more individuals have started the program in February and are on pace to graduate in July 2024. He said they too intend to stay in the area as working paramedics.
