A Clinton man is wanted in Custer County after allegedly attacking another man with a knife.

According to a probable cause affidavit, 40-year-old Brandon Cody Harrison is facing a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after Clinton police responded to a report of an alleged assault on Feb. 28.

According to the affidavit a Clinton Police Officer was dispatched to the Weatherford Regional Hospital emergency room that night after receiving a report that a male subject was in the emergency room due to an injury he sustained from an assault that occurred in Clinton.

The officer would note that the victim had a laceration on his right forearm that was actively bleeding at the time. When asked what happened, the victim said a male subject, later identified as Harrison, had caused the injury.

He would tell police that while working on a bicycle in the backyard of his residence in the 100 block of Prairie Chief Avenue, he had asked the defendant to leave but Harrison would allegedly swing what the victim thought was a knife at him.

The victim said as this happened, he would lift his right arm above his face to block the knife, causing it to cut his lower right forearm.

The victim would tell police that Harrison would flee the scene after the attack.

Harrison was formally charged with the felony on March 7.

As of press time, he has not been arrested.
