The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission met earlier in the week and discussed upcoming projects for calendar year 2023.
Among the projects discussed included the planned hangar project at Clinton Regional Airport that will replace a hangar that was destroyed by a tornado.
Airports Division Manager Nick Young told the Commission that the OAC will contribute to the project.
The tornado that blew through the airport occurred in October 2021 and caused nearly $7 million in property damage.
No word on when construction could begin on the new hangar.
