Local lawmakers were sworn in to office this past week including Oklahoma House District 57 Representative Anthony Moore (R – Clinton).

Moore will be serving his second term in office after winning re-election in September.

Moore had high praise recently for newly elected District 55 Representative Nick Archer (R – Elk City) saying even after being sworn in on Wednesday, he has hit the ground running and is ready to work with fellow lawmakers on writing legislation that deals with Western Oklahoma values.

Moore said he personally plans to focus on tax reform, education, election integrity and ESG in the oil and gas industry during the upcoming legislative session.

The First Session of the 59th Legislature reconvenes on Monday, February 6.
