Social Media Threats Lead to Arrest of Sayre Teen

An 18-year-old Sayre man has been charged in Beckham County after allegedly making social media threats.

Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning says after investigating the incident, it was confirmed that Jacob Edward Haro had a firearm that he was making threats with online.

Manning said Haro was booked into the Beckham County Jail where he was charged with, among other things, conspiracy to perform an act of violence and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Bond for Haro was set at $20,000.
