Elk City School Board Set to Meet Tonight

The Elk City School Board is scheduled to meet tonight (Monday) in regular session.

Highlights on the agenda the board will discuss and consider include a resolution calling for a Board of Education Primary Election for Office Number 3 for a 5 year term. The election will be conducted on February 14, 2023, and the filing period for the
office will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 5 through Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

The Board will also consider and take action to approve or not approve a Lease Purchase Agreement with Great Plains Bank for two activity buses.

It’s also expected the board will receive a financial and building improvement update from Superintendent Mike Sparks.

Tonight’s meeting at the School Board Office is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
