Wellington, TX Woman Sentenced to Serve Five Years in Prison

On Thursday, August 11, 19 pleas took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Childress County.

Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the cases for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Stuart Messer presiding.

One of those pleas saw a Wellington, Texas woman sentenced to five years in prison.

According to a press release provided by the District Court, 48-year-old Pamela Ann Klinekole was sentenced to five years in prison for the third degree felony offense of forgery against an elderly individual.

Klinekole was arrested on April 23, 2015, by Collingsworth County Sheriff Kent Riley. Klinekole was originally placed on three years probation on June 8, 2015. The State filed a motion asking the Court to adjudicate Klinekole’s probation on April 6, 2020.

Klinekole was also ordered to pay a $3,000 fine, $376 in court costs and $685.62 restitution.
