Motorcycle Collides With Pickup in Harmon County

A Hollis man is in critical condition after being involved in a two vehicle accident on Friday afternoon.

According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 1:43 p.m., 1 and a half miles east of Hollis when while riding a 2019 Harley Davidson, the man crossed the center line while heading east on U.S. Highway 62 and collided head on with a 2010 Chevrolet pick-up occupied by a couple from Wellington, Texas.

The name of the motorcycle driver was not released.

As a result of the crash, the man was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in critical condition with head, arm, trunk internal, and leg injuries.

The couple in the pick-up were not injured.
