Lone Wolf Man Hospitalized After Hitting Deer in Kiowa County

A Lone Wolf man was hospitalized Monday after being involved in a one vehicle accident in Kiowa County.

According to the accident report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred Monday morning just before 7a.m. on State Highway 9, 2 miles east of Gotebo when 55-year-old Robert Fisher struck a deer with his 2000 Jeep while traveling east bound on the highway.

OHP said that after hitting the deer, Fisher departed the road to he right, over corrected before rolling the vehicle an unknown amount of times. OHP said while the vehicle was rolling, Fisher was ejected.

Fisher was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in good condition with trunk internal and trunk external injuries.
