A one vehicle accident in Kiowa County Tuesday evening has left one man dead and another in critical condition.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred around 7:40 Tuesday evening at the intersection of county roads NS 2130 and EW 1410 located three miles east and one mile south of Lone Wolf.
OHP says as a result of the mishap that involved a 2004 Honda Accord, 45-year-old Mark Rogers of Tulsa was air lifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries. Another occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
OHP has not released the name of the deceased.
It is unclear at this time as to how the vehicle wrecked. OHP says the cause and condition of the occupants remains under investigation.
No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
