The Elk City Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session Tuesday night.

Highlights on the agenda include the Commission to consider a collective bargaining agreement between the City of Elk City and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 221. The Commission will also consider a lease agreement between the City and Elk City Motocross Park, LLC for the lease of the motocross property.

Later in the meeting the Commission will consider revising the lease agreement between the City and the Elk City Golf and Country Club which, if approved, directs the City to pay additional operations and maintenance costs of the golf course grounds.

The Elk City Commission meeting is scheduled to start at 7:00p.m. inside City Hall.

The Clinton City Council will also meet in regular session Tuesday night.

Items the Council will consider include condemning property in the 1700 block of Walton Road, a resolution stating its support for the development of U.S. Bicycle Route 66, accepting and possibly awarding bids for mowers for the street department.

While acting as the public works authority, the Council will also receive updates on the Clinton Lake Water Treatment Plant, including an update on the ongoing emergency repairs to the wastewater and water facilities.

The facilities took on damage during the extreme cold weather in February.

Tuesday’s Clinton City Council meeting in City Hall is scheduled to start at 5:30p.m.
