After lengthy discussion, the Elk City Commission ultimately decided to table action of a proposed agreement between the city and the Chamber of Commerce.

City Manager Tom Ivester says the agreement would change who oversees the budget for the Elk City Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

The next regular meeting of the Elk City Commission is scheduled to take place on January 20.

In other business, the Commission did approve the latest pay application to Joe D. Hall General Contractors for the CAPPs Project, the Elk City Activity Center, for the amount of just under $418,000.
