The Elk City Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session Wednesday.

Items the commission will discuss and consider include a project agreement between the city, Beckham County, and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for railroad signal improvements at the railroad crossing on 7th Street. If approved the city will match funds for the project.

The commission will also consider a bid for roof repair for three city owned buildings.

While acting as the industrial authority, the commission will consider and approve or disapprove to payoff the elementary school loan with First National Bank and Trust of Elk City. The amount owed on the loan is just under $3 million.

Wednesday’s meeting in city hall is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
