For the second straight night, Elk City’s basketball swept both games of a doubleheader. After dispatching Chickasha on Monday, Elk City was in Altus last night for a pair of games. The Elkettes won their second straight with a 52-21 win. Hailey Buie paced Elk City with 15, knocking down 3 from behind the arc. Alyssa Nolan led Altus with 7. The Elks put it on the Bulldogs 69-46.

Freshman Cole Buie poured in a career high 23 on 6 made 3’s to lead the Brown and White. Stephone Sterling was the only bulldog in double figures with 10.

Paragontv was on hand in 4 different locations for small school action last night. Canute took two from CBA. The Trojanettes edged the Lady Crusaders 41-36. Kylie Smith had 14 to lead Canute. Abby Janning chipped in with 12. Brooklyn Roberts had a game high 15 in a losing effort for CBA. The Trojans handled the Crusaders 58-34. Jackson Beck scorched the nets with 20. Aiden Brown helped with 10. Harrison Penner had a game high 22 for CBA. C-R split with BFDC. The Lady Bears hammered the Lady Eagles 53-32. Abbie Barton led Cheyenne with 20. The Eagles whipped up on the Bears 57-39. Connor Allen had 9 in a losing effort for Cheyenne. AB swept Leedey.

The Lady Indians pasted the Lady Bison 62-32. Katie Edelin had 17 for AB. Megan Bradley led Leedey with 11. The Indians topped the Bison 66-51. Brett Griffith poured in 26. Cade Clem had 13 for Leedey. Arnett and Erick split. The Lady Wildcats won 49-30. The Bearcats were 57-41 winners.

The Class A and B playoffs will tip off starting tomorrow with District tournament action.
