We’re a day away from the 2nd round of the High School Football playoffs kicking off all across the State of Oklahoma.
Elk City’s got the longest trip of anyone in any class traveling a hair over 300 miles to NE Oklahoma to take on the Grove Ridgerunners. The Elks come in 9-2 while Grove sports a 10-1 record. If you can’t make the long haul to Grove tomorrow night, we’ll have you covered with live video streaming on bigelktv.com or radio coverage available on KOOL94FM. Pregame will get started at 6:30 with the kickoff to come at 7.
In the other 3 Quarterfinals in Class 4A, The Clinton Red Tornadoes host Bristow, Blanchard heads to Poteau, and #1 Tuttle welcomes defending champion Wagoner.
Burns Flat-Dill City’s still alive in the Class A playoffs. The Eagles upset Mangum last week to advance to round 2 tomorrow night. 8-3 BFDC will play host to 10-1 Elmore City-Pernell tomorrow night at 7. In other Class A action around the area, Hooker’s @ Cashion, Fairview hosts Tonkawa, and Minco heads to Ringling.
Down in the 8 man ranks in Class B, #1 Laverne hosts Tipton, Shattuck’s at Velma-Alma, and Seiling hosts Caddo.
