College Football Weekend

OU OSU

It was a mixed bag of results for the two in state schools on the college football gridiron Saturday.

The Oklahoma Sooners went to Waco and came back with their first loss of the season 27-14 at the hands of Baylor.

True Freshman Quarterback, Caleb Williams, showed his youth with a pair of ugly interceptions. The OU offense was never able to get things on track the entire afternoon. Baylor outrushed OU 296-78.

Oklahoma’s now 9-1, tumbled to #12 in both the AP and Coaches Poll. They’ll host Iowa State Saturday morning in Norman.

Oklahoma State continued their late season run by dominating TCU 63-17. The Pokes led 49-3 early in the 4th quarter before Ok State called off the dogs and TCU score a couple meaningless TDs.

Ok State moves to 9-1, up to #9 in both polls.

They have a tricky road test at Texas Tech Saturday night.
