Elk City baseball’s on a spring break trip down in Gulf Shores, Alabama facing some stiff competition in the Gulf Coast Classic. The Big Elks dropped their first game of the season in a 5-0 loss on Monday to Lipscomb Academy, TN. Soph Kash Mayfield threw well on the bump surrendering 3 runs while striking out 10. Elk City fell to Pryor this morning 5-3.
The Elks are playing Friendship Academy, TN right now and are scheduled to finish up tomorrow against Hillcrest, Alabama.
