Bryce YoungAlabama’s Bryce Young was awarded the Heisman trophy on Saturday night in New York City. Young is the first Crimson Tide QB to take home the award. He’s the 4th Bama player to win the Heisman since Mark Ingram became the first back in 2009.

Alabama joins OU, Ohio St, USC, Army, and Yale as the only schools with back-to-back Heisman trophy winners. Michigan’s Aiden Hutchinson was second. Hutchinson was trying to be just the second defensive player to win the award. He would’ve joined fellow Wolverine Charles Woodson as the only defenders to win. Pitt QB Kenny Pickett finished 3rd. Ohio ST QB CJ Stroud was 4th and Alabama LB Will Anderson rounded out the top 5 heisman vote getters.
