4A Soccer Quarterfinals Results and Early State Track Meet Medalist

Last night’s 4A soccer quarterfinals saw some exciting action as teams battled for a spot in the semifinals. In the girls’ bracket, Weatherford managed to edge out Clinton 1-0, while Woodward defeated Bethany 2-1. The Lady Eagles will now face Holland Hall in the semifinals, and Woodward will take on Metro Christian.

In the boys’ bracket, two-time defending champions Clinton secured their spot in the semifinals by defeating Chickasha 3-1 in a rematch of last year’s title game. They’ll now face Metro Christian next week for a chance to defend their title.

Meanwhile, the 4A state track meet has also kicked off, and Elk City Jr. Cooper Garbarino has already secured a medal. Despite only pole vaulting for three months, Cooper managed to clear 13′ and win the bronze medal. Congratulations, Cooper!

Weatherford, Woodward, and Clinton Advance to Semifinals

The 4A girls’ and boys’ soccer quarterfinals saw some tough battles as teams fought for a spot in the semifinals. In the girls’ bracket, Weatherford and Woodward managed to secure their spots with victories over Clinton and Bethany, respectively. Meanwhile, in the boys’ bracket, Clinton emerged victorious in a rematch of last year’s title game against Chickasha. All three teams will now face tough competition in the semifinals next week.

Elk City’s Cooper Garbarino Wins Bronze in Pole Vault

The 4A state track meet got off to an exciting start as Elk City’s Cooper Garbarino secured the bronze medal in the Pole Vault. Despite only taking up pole vaulting three months ago, Cooper managed to clear an impressive 13′ and earn a place on the podium. Well done, Cooper!
