SWOSU Sets Easy Access COVID Vaccination Clinics

With the start of classes beginning on August 16, Southwestern Oklahoma State University plans to host COVID vaccination clinics August 16-20 on the Weatherford campus.

Dr. Randy Curry, coordinator of the SWOSU College of Pharmacy Rural Health Center, said the clinics on Monday, August 16, through Thursday, August 19, will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the first floor of the Memorial Student Center in the area between the University Grill and Duke’s Diner. The clinics are free and open to all SWOSU students.

The public is invited to the clinic on Friday, August 20, that will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. Appointments are preferred and can be made by calling 580.774.3025. The clinic is open to everyone.

A clinic for the second dose of the vaccination will be held Friday, September 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.

Curry encourages people who have not been vaccinated to set up appointments at SWOSU or with a local provider.
