The potential for severe weather returns tonight for the region.

According to KOCO Meteorologist Jonathan Conder, storms are expected to start developing along a dryline stretched across the eastern Texas Panhandle early this evening, with storms possibly moving into the area shortly after.

Conder says as a result, the potential for severe weather in the area could produce not only large damaging hail, and damaging wind but also the possibility of producing tornadoes.

Meteorologists from the National Weather Service in Norman says behind the storms comes cooler temperatures and high north winds that could give us red flag warnings in the area.
