NFEC 83rd Annual Meeting Saturday

Northfork Electric Cooperative’s 83rd Annual Meeting will be held under the pavilion at the Sayre Municipal Park tomorrow.

General Manager Brent Meador says the annual meeting is open to families who are apart of the cooperative with registration beginning at 9 a.m.

Meador says prizes this year that members have a chance to win include mowers, a TV, and even cash. He also says all members that registser their attendance will receive a NFEC cap and a stubby butcher knife.

Prizes for kids include bicycles and AirPods.

Meador says topics discussed during the meeting, among other things, will be renewable energy.

Also, during the meeting, elections for trustee positions in districts one and two will be conducted. Currently serving in districts one and two are Bandy Silk and Chad Smith.

Free swimming and miniature golf will be available throughout the day. Along with a catered barbecue meal.

Northfork Electric Cooperative serves portions of Beckham, Custer, Dewey, Greer, Harmon, Roger Mills and Washita counties.
