OSDH: Beckham County Covid-19 Free

The latest COVID-19 numbers in the region continue to improve.

According to the latest figures from the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Beckham, Washita, and Roger Mills Counties all are currently Covid free. Additionally the department says all counties are categorized in the state’s COVID-19 Risk Level System as being “green” meaning each county has less than 1.41 of active cases per 100,000 people.

Custer County is also a “green” county, however the department says there are 6 active cases of the virus in that county. Four in Clinton and two in Weatherford.

Statewide, officials say there are currently 1,621 active cases in Oklahoma – down by 31% when compared to a week ago. Also statewide there are only 111 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19, 28 of which are in the ICU.

Only 3 hospitalizations in Region 1, which consists of Beckham, Custer, Washita and Roger Mills Counties. Only 1 in Region 1 is in intensive care.
