Presidio Kids’ Fishing Derby and Family Park Day

Free Fishing 8 AM – Noon

the KECO Kids’ Fishing Derby at Ackley Park in Elk City, Oklahoma is free and open to children aged 15 and under.

Fishing Class

The Oklahoma Fish and Wildlife Park Rangers will provide on-site fishing instructions at 8am

Worms and Fishing Poles

It is not necessary to bring any fishing equipment to this event. Free worms and loaner fishing poles are available while supplies last. Children can obtain them from the Oklahoma Park Rangers

Free T-Shirts

Fishing Derby T-Shirts are available for children while supplies last. Shirts will be distributed at the KECO tent at approximately 8 AM.

Prize fish award $100

We are stocking the pond with over TWENTY $100 fish!

When tagged fish are caught, please bring them to the KECO weigh-in tent to collect your prize of up to $100 CASH.

KECO Weigh-In Tent

When fish are caught kids can bring them to the KECO weigh-in tent. We will weigh the fish and tally the catch, then direct your child to release it back into the pond.
