Two people, including a 6-year-old girl from Fort Cobb, died after a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Caddo County near Lookeba.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report, a 1997 Dodge 3500 pickup truck and a 2015 Honda Accord were heading in opposite directions around 8 a.m. on County Road 1130 near Lookeba when the two vehicles met on a hillcrest. The report says the Dodge struck the Honda in the westbound lanes before they came to a rest in the road.

The driver of the Honda, 28-year-old Gena L. Evans and her passenger, the 6-year-old girl were pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger in the Honda, a 5-year-old girl, was admitted into OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City in fair condition.

A man driving the Dodge pickup truck was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital but was released after being treated.

OHP says the condition of both the drivers and the cause of the collision remain under investigation.
