Elk City Leaders To Meet Wednesday

The Elk City Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session Wednesday afternoon.

According to the posted agenda the business as usual affair will see the Commission consider several purchases including a 2020 Tahoe Police Package for just over $53,000, a bid for a new equipment trailer for the street department for $58,450, two 30 yard roll-offs for $12,470, and equipment for the water plant for the replacement of defective equipment for just over $22,400. All budgeted items.

The Commission will also consider a contract for services between the Elk City Industrial Authority and Kids, Incorporated.

It is also expected that the Commission will receive the latest sales, use, and cigarette tax numbers from the City Treasurer.

Wednesday’s meeting in City Hall is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
