Little details have been given, but the execution of a search warrant at a Hammon home prompted the Hammon Public School to cancel classes on Wednesday.
According to Roger Mills County Sheriff Brian Smith, his staff executed a search warrant at the home which quickly led to the arrest of a suspect without incident or injuries. Smith also said misinformation led to reports from Oklahoma City media outlets of a standoff at the residence, however that was not true.
The name of the suspect, or why the person was arrested was not revealed due to it being an ongoing investigation.
This is a developing story.
