Sayre Woman Receives 15 Felony Counts After Investigation

An outstanding warrant has been issued for a Sayre woman after being charged with 15 felony counts of unlawful use of communication facility after an investigation revealed that she allegedly ran a drug distribution operation last summer.

According to court records, 35-year-old Ashley Dawn Roddy was formally charged with the crimes last week (March 3) in Beckham County District Court when according to the probable cause affidavit, Roddy allegedly had used electronic communications to set up distribution of a control dangerous substance to multiple subjects between late June and middle August of last year.

Of the 15 Roddy allegedly made contact with, court records show 14 of those individuals also received one felony count each of unlawful use of communication facility. Those named in the probable cause affidavit and receiving those charged include 40-year-old Misty Michelle Bashaw, 27-year-old Jeremy Andrew Mikles, 59-year-old Cordellia Airon Ireland, 30-year-old Cassondra Ann Ireland, 35-year-old Sid Doyle Warren Ireland, 22-year-old Hope Tristan Nokle Tarver, 29-year-old Samantha Louise Babb,  64-year-old Poley Varnell, 47-year-old Ladonna Marie Sanders, and 39-year-old Aubrey Steven McDonald all of Sayre. Also charged are 40-year-old Michelle Lynn Villa, and 29-year-old Joseph Eucario Martinez both of Elk City, and 27-year-old Jordan Wade Perry of Sweetwater and 41-year-old Darrly Lynn Garcia of Ardmore.

If convicted, each crime is punishable by a fine of not less than $5,000, or by imprisonment of not more than five years, or by both.

An initial appearance before a Beckham County judge for Roddy is scheduled to take place Thursday morning.
