Tres Hill and Ryder Cowan continue to dominate the junior golf scene this fall. Hill, a Sr at Elk City HS, won the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour Championship this weekend at Shawnee Country Club by a shot after firing 1 under for two rounds in tough conditions this weekend. Tres also took home player of the year honors by accumulation the most points and shot the lowest round on the tour, a course record breaking 62 at Earlywine. Cowan on the other hand won his first AJGA event at Hot Springs Country Club by firing a two round total of 7 under, 137. Ryder shot 70 in the first round and found himself tied for the lead heading into the final round. He fired a sizzling 5 under 67 to pull away and win by two, earning the coveted red AJGA bag with the win. Congratulations to two fine young men who are playing great golf at an early age.x
