Cordell City Council to Meet Tonight – Consider Cares Act Funding

The Cordell City Council will meet in regular session tonight (Monday).

Agenda items the council will consider include taking action a resolution concerning funding pursuant to the Cares Act and the Coronavirus Relief Fund. Subsequently, the council will consider a separate resolution that if approved, will authorize the mayor to submit an application for financial assistance under the fiscal year 2021 Oklahoma State Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Response System Stabilization and Improvement Revolving Fund.

In other business, the council will discuss and take action on the purchase of a new police vehicle, consider a purchase order to be used towards a renovation project for city hall, and also consider advertising for bids for repair work needed at the Police Department.

Tonight’s meeting in the Community Center is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
