Truck Slams Into Creek – Lone Wolf Woman Hospitalized

A Lone Wolf woman was involved in a single vehicle accident Thursday that saw her admitted into an Oklahoma City hospital.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Melissa White was admitted into an Oklahoma City hospital after the pickup she was riding in departed the road and went into a creek.

OHP says the 2004 Ford F-150 driven by 37-year-old David Hanlin of Altus was traveling at a high rate of speed on a county road 6 miles south of Lone Wolf just afte eight o’clock Thursday morning when he lost control of the truck, departed the road to the left and went into the creek, striking the creek bank.

Hanlin was uninjured, however White suffered trunk internal injuries. She was initially taken to Elkview General Hospital in Hobart before being transferred and admitted into Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was last listed to be in stable condition.

OHP says the condition of the driver, and as to why the truck departed the road is still under investigation.
