The search for a city manager for the City of Clinton will continue during a special meeting this week.
Mayor David Berrong says the deadline to submit an application for the position ended on July 17, and the City Council met in special session last Wednesday to begin “phase two” of the process.
Berrong says it would not be unreasonable that a new city manager could be hired by as soon as September.
This week’s special meeting to continue the search will take place in executive session at the Frisco Conference Center on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
