BREAKING: Hammon Bank Robbed

Details are still coming in, but officials with the Roger Mills Sheriff’s Department are confirming a bank robbery took place at the Security State Bank in Hammon.

Officials have confirmed that the suspect is still at large and is described as being a black male, possibly wearing a wig, and was last seen in a dark, possibly gray, four door sedan.

Officials also have confirmed that there were no injuries during the robbery.

Sheriff Darren Atha says the FBI is en-route to the scene to assist with the investigation. A picture of the suspect was also released on the Sheriff’s Facebook page and he is asking anyone with additional information to contact the Sheriff’s Department.

UPDATE 12:20pm: According to the Security State Bank official Facebook page, the Hammon branch will be closed until Monday, July 27. The post also confirmed that all employees are at their homes and are safe.
