A Childress, Texas man was injured after running into the back of a parked semi truck trailer on Cate 40 in Beckham County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Kallan Burns suffered leg and arm injuries in the mishap that took place in the west bound lanes of I-40 near Elk City on Friday morning.
The report stated that the semi was stopped on the interstate while waiting for a prior crash to be cleared from the roadway when the Burns vehicle ran into the rear of the trailer.
Burns was transported to OU Medical Center, last listed to be in good condition.
