Altus Police are seeking the public’s help in obtaining information regarding a stabbing that took place Thursday afternoon.
According to officials, police responded to 1105 Union Circle shortly after 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon after a report of a person being stabbed.
When police arrived and discovered a male who had suffered a laceration to the back of the head. That man was transported to Jackson County Memorial Hospital, treated and was later released.
Police say they are currently conducting interviews as the investigation into the stabbing continues, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
Police request that if anyone has additional information regarding the case to contact the Altus Police Department.
Police say anyone reporting a tip or additional information can remain anonymous.
