Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers are still investigating a motorcycle accident that sent two people from the United Kingdom to a local hospital.

62-year-old Paul Hanby and 67-year-old Maureen Hanby are both recuperating in Great Plains Regional Medical Center today after colliding with a semi yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon near Sayre.

According to the OHP report, the Hanbys are both in stable condition at the hospital with arm and leg injuries.

The report says little about what caused the accident, but that it happened about 1 mile east of Sayre in Beckham County around 1:47 Tuesday afternoon in wet conditions.

The condition of the driver, 53-year-old David Dodson of Morning Sun, Iowa, was apparently normal and was uninjured.
