Sheriff?s Office Looking for Sayre Woman

October 7, 2015
The Beckham County Sheriff’s Office is once again asking for the public’s help finding a woman who’s been missing for two months.
The last substantiated sighting of 46-year-old Christina Green was Sunday, August 9, according to deputies’ reports.
Green’s parents notified the Sheriff’s Office on August 12 that Christina was missing.  Her father told authorities that Green’s vehicle was at her house, and that her personal effects were still there.
Christina Green has had personal and medical issues causing her family to fear for her safety as well as what appeared to be a hand-written will found in the house dated four days earlier, according to a report by the Sheriff’s Office.
The Beckham County Sheriff’s Office has interviewed several parties in the case and has searched the area.  That search included the area around Green’s residence as well as the north fork of the Red River on foot, on horseback, on 4-wheelers and in vehicles and kayaks.
The department is also in the process of obtaining court orders to subpoena documents which may assist in locating Ms. Green.
Green is described as five feet, seven inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds and has brown hair, brown eyes, and a stocky build.  She also has a tattoo on one leg, and has a handicapped left arm.  She may be wearing glasses.
Sheriff Scott Jay says it’s important for the public to come forward with any information they may have about Green’s disappearance.  He says what’s thought to be insignificant may lead investigators to finding her.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Beckham County Sheriff’s Office at (580) 928-2121.
