A Roger Mills County accident is under investigation after sending all five people involved to area hospitals.  Three of those were sent to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
43-year-old Melinda Kay Porter is in OU Med in good condition this afternoon with internal injures along with a juvenile male, a 12-year-old with head injuries and both arriving in stable condition and both are from Reydon.
Also in OU Med is the driver of the other vehicle, 23-year-old Dustin Wayne Adams of Sayre who was transported to the Oklahoma City hospital with a broken lower extremity and is in good condition at news time.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Adam’s vehicle, a 1991 Chevy stuck Porter’s vehicle, a 1985 Ford, in the rear as it was turning.  The Ford was driven by 39-year old Joey James Porter who was treated and released at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City.  Another passenger in Porter’s vehicle, a 2-year-old female juvenile was also treated and released from Great Plains and both are from Reydon, as well.
At the time of the accident, the report says the Porter vehicle was slowing to make a right turn.
