False submits and items is a serious 'no-no.'  When you are discovered submitting fake items, you will be forced to face many consequences.  It is highly likely charges will be brought against you for such an act, so please don't do it.
As this is a privately owned and operated web-site, we at Paragon Communications reserve the right to monitor and refuse any submissions, in any category, that we feel are illegitimate or inappropriate for any reason.
TRADIO GUIDE
INTRO

Welcome to Online Tradio--an extension of the popular on-air KECO program.  Now you can browse and submit items at any time right from the convenience of your home computer.  Now, here are some facts and helpful hints about Online Tradio as well of a few "do's" and "don't"s.

ETIQUETTE
Tradio is a privilege--not a right.  Please use it in respect and moderation.  We ask that professional businesses refrain from using Online Tradio to sell their products.

Please try and limit yourself to 2 items submitted to a category per week.  It'll help things run smoother overall.  By keeping the category lists relatively small, more items will be able to be browsed and hopefully exchanged.

False submits and items is a serious 'no-no.'  When you are discovered submitting fake items, you will be forced to face many consequences.  It is highly likely charges will be brought against you for such an act, so please don't do it.

Please don't abuse the system.  Even though we are still in a 'beta' version of Online Tradio, please refrain from performing 'test submits' to see if the system is working.  Vulgar language is unacceptable and will be dealt with immediately.

HINTS & TIPS
Because Online Tradio is still in a 'beta' state, there are a few quirks and bugs that remain in the system.  Fortunately, they can easily be dealt with.  More hints and tips will be added as Online Tradio progresses.

1)  Use the Refresh option... a lot.  Because the Tradio pages are constantly being updated, altered, and added upon, you must refresh the individual pages to be sure and see new items.  To properly refresh an individual Tradio page, you must right click somewhere in the page itself and click the 'Refresh' option.  DO NOT USE THE 'REFRESH' BUTTON ON THE TOP OF YOUR BROWSER--IT WILL NOT WORK.

2)  Do not surf Online Tradio in hopes of finding something that you heard on On-Air Tradio, as we do not submit those items onto the list ourselves (not yet, at least).  However, the person who called in an item to On-Air might have submitted it to Online Tradio as well.

3)  If you are going to submit an item, browse around a bit and make sure you are submitting to the correct category for your item--try and use your GOOD judgment in choosing.  When you decide on a category, browse through it a little to see how other people are submitting their items.  Be informative, brief, and logical when filling out a submit form.

4)  Please do not keep re-submitting the same item.  There is probably a reason as to why an item that has been on the list for 6 weeks straight hasn't sold.  However, there are some items out there, such as houses, that might need a longer period on the list to get recognized.  Just use good judgment when you are considering re-submitting.

5)  The Online Tradio categories will be cleared out on a bi-weekly basis, every other Monday.  This could very well be changed into a weekly basis--depending on how much it gets used.  Keep this in mind when submitting and browsing.  The earlier you submit in the week, the longer your item will be on the Tradio list.  It's always good to browse early and often, but don't expect a plethora of items if it is early in the week.

6)  It is a given and understood that most all entries are in the 580 area code, so don't feel like you need to include '580' in the 'Contact' sections of the submit pages.  However, if you are not in the 580 area code, please specify so.

7)  If you experience any errors in the Online Tradio system, please do not post your error or question on Online Tradio or on the KECO Guestbook.  Instead, email us.  Please describe the error in the email.  The problem will be dealt with as soon as possible.
