Granger signing Shawna's "Country Girl" T-Shirt
Midnight Rodeo is notoriously not Brandon's favorite night spot after a run in with an over weight "Walker Texas Ranger" wannabe. However, Brandon found himself on "the list" for the gala affair and decided to attend. After several rounds of good ol' Texas beer, Granger took the stage and lit the whole joint on fire. Opening with "We Do It In A Field", Granger snagged a "daaayyuuuuum" from our corner of the bar as he rocked, rolled, pumped his fist, and took us on a whirl wind ride for the next two hours which included "That's What I Do With It" and a tribute to our service men and women, and an awesome rendition of "Don't Stop Believin' ". What really struck Brandon and his father was the fact that every so often, Granger would throw out an Earl reference. It was just enough to keep you glued to the stage, but not so much that it became an annoying interruption. He elegantly let you know that "the country boy" was on his way. And he did not disappoint. Brandon is still not sure, blame the beer, but it did appear that there was even a confetti cannon involved in the rip roarin', roof burnin' rendition of the "Country Boy Song" for which Granger went back stage and changed into full Dibbles attire. Let us all pray that the early rumors hold true and Granger makes a trip to Western Oklahoma sooner rather than later!
James Harden was traded, which really sucks. But have no fear. Our Thunder pride tells us that this season is still going to kick ass. Walking Dead unveiled the meanest S.O.B. this side of the apocalypse in the form of the "Governor". We can't wait to see the fur fly when Rick meets up with this mean southern gent. Saints lost, and Brandon was pissed.
We received a nice letter from our girl Jenny today! We all look forward to the bright future of Jenny Simms and the guys, as we feel they're just getting started! Cyrus James is going to be in the studio on Tuesday, Oct. 30th to chat about his latest project. Let's see if we can't make him feel "at home".
