Fresh off his first number one hit "Red Dirt Girl" (the Red Dirt name dropping anthem for female fans of the Oklahoma music scene) and his first tattoo, Bo Phillips has released his latest single "Riverbed". Riverbed is a laid back, bouncy, beer drinkin' tune with a solid slide guitar through out. The track chronicles the life experiences one can have at the riverbed. Everything from spiritual awakening to skinny dippin' and getting married, and of course having one hell of a party. Put this track on your mix tape with Turnpike Troubadours' "Long Hot Summer Days" and you've got sweet summer sunshine all winter long.
In case you missed out, Bo Phillips hit his first number one with "Red Dirt Girl", which meant it was time for his first tattoo. For weeks Bo took to Facebook and Twitter asking around for places to get inked and for ideas on what to get. Eventually Bo decided on a place and the design. Bo's first tat is a shoulder piece of the skin opening to reveal a guitar, and it looks pretty sweet. Check out Bo's Facebook page for photos of the first tattoo, info on upcoming shows, and Bo's always insightful words of wisdom.
