Hammon Bank Robbery Suspect Still At Large

The suspect who robbed the Security State Bank in Hammon is still at large, and the FBI is seeking the public’s help in capturing him.

Wednesday morning the suspect entered the location and made a verbal demand for money from bank employees while waving around a firearm.

Officials say the suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the location heading southbound on State Highway 34. No injuries were reported.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male around the age of 25 to 40 years old, wearing a black dress, a black wig, a surgical face mask, dark sunglasses, black shoes with a white logo, and carrying a worn American flag-themed Jansport backpack.

Officials believe he is approximately 5’8″ – 5’9″ tall with brown eyes.
